Troop 2319 is a Scouts BSA troop located in Marietta, GA. Our scouts are active with Troop, District, & Council events. Our primary mission is to provide a quality and fun scouting program using the traditional Boy Scout methods. We are primarily a youth led organization with meetings, activities, and campouts determined and planned by the youth Senior Patrol Leader and his Patrol Leaders Council.
Thank you Cobb County Commissioners for inviting Troop 2319’s recent Eagle Scouts to your monthly meeting this week to recognize their great accomplishments. Becoming an Eagle Scout is one of the highest honors a scout can earn. It was so great to see them being recognized for that accomplishment. What an awesome experience they will remember for years to come!
It may have been a few months since he officially passed his Eagle Board of Review, but we were finally able to properly celebrate and congratulate Michael C. at his Eagle Court of Honor yesterday! Congratulations Charlie A.! Although you passed your Board of Review and officially became an Eagle Scout a couple months ago, it was great that we were able to properly congratulate you at your Eagle Court of Honor this past weekend. You worked hard to complete your trail and have come a long way from the scout you crossed over as. You’ve held multiple leadership positions, worked on numerous Merit Badges and Religious Emblems, and planned and executed an Eagle Project as a final demonstration of your leadership skills. Over the weekend, scouts from 2319 led by David Ripley, who is working on his Eagle Scout Project, assembled 8 new benches for UNA! Our Troop is blessed to be part of the UNA family and we can’t wait to see what the next Eagle Project @ Unity North Atlanta will be! Congratulations and great work David, you had a good plan that was well executed to get the job done!
The Troop held it’s first Eagle Court of Honor today for Robert ‘Scorpio’ Carlin! It’s been a long time coming, congratulations! It was a fantastic ceremony with a great MC. It was great to see so many people there to celebrate the day with Robert, and a special thank you to Rev. Richard Burdick and Unity North for being in attendance and allowing us to have such a special ceremony in the main sanctuary.
